Anyways, recently a friend of mine had a farewell party as she is sadly leaving us for 6 months to go on exchange and roam around the wild that is Europe =(. She also shares my passion for the middle eastern cuisine and so we all went out to dinner at Al Mustafa's, one of my fav Lebanese restaurants!!
Awww!
Fattoush! Haha I love that word. I could eat this by itself all day
My fav salad - Tabouli
Baba Ghanouj with Lebanese bread mmmmm
Lamb Mansaf - probably one of the biggest reasons why I love Al Mustafa's! This stuff is so yum! The rice alone is just so nice!!
Lamb Vine Leaves
Chicken Shawarma - reminds me of Saudi Arabia!! Yum yum, defs don't attempt to kiss anyone after having the garlic puree on the side, it's quite intense...
Thank you for the photobomb Jodes =P.
These are lamb kebeh. It was the first time I ordered them and I think they were a bit dry, not as I imagined...might try something different next time.
And of course, the aftermath. This is what happens when you take a bunch of hungry girls out to dinner.
I love Al Mustafa's because the staff are so friendly and it has a real cosy feel to it. And they have belly dancers!!
Always entertaining to see innocent diners get pulled to their feet to dance off the alcohol =P.
Oh and can't forget dessert!
Baklava and Nomura (a semolina cake)
I don't get to catch up with my school friends much but when we do it's like nothing has changed. I love these girls, and it's always so much fun when we do get together =).
